FRONSAC
BOOK YOUR TOURSituated west of Saint-Emilion, Fronsac, together with the neighbouring appellation, Canon Fronsac, produce fruity, yet tannic and complex wines. Hilly and limestone country side slopes are overlooking the rivers of Dordogne and Isle. The appellations covers less than 800 hectares. In a pure, typical right bank manner, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the main grapes of this formerly strategic positioned region.
Some of the constant quality wines from both Fronsac and Canon Fronsac appellations are unarguably: Chateau Moulin Pey-Labrie, Chateau La Vieille Cure, Chateau Moulin Haut Laroque, Chateau Villars, Chateau La Dauphine, to mention just a few of them.
